Privacy
This site is run by one person, Rob Klasen. On this page "we" means Rob. Here is everything the site keeps about you and what it never does.
What is kept
- While "Record my play" is on, the site records your play as a replay of the screen: what the page showed and where you tapped. It does not record your camera, your microphone, typing outside the page or your other tabs.
- Two kinds of game record are sent: one when a game starts, holding the level and the time, and one when it finishes, holding the level, the number of hands, both scores, who won, how long it took and when.
-
If you came here from an ad, the link carries tags naming the ad (such as
utm_source,utm_campaignor the ad site's click id). Your browser keeps the first ad's tags, and the record of each game you start carries them, the tags of the link you came in on this time, if any, and your browser's name and version. That is how we learn which ads bring people who come back to play, and how we tell a person from a robot. A finished game carries none of this. To stop it, open this link once: your browser forgets the ad and no game record carries any of it again. - Each game record carries an anonymous id, sixteen letters and digits made once by your browser and kept in your browser's storage. It is never tied to a name, an email, an address or a login, and we have nothing that could join it to one.
- There is no analytics vendor, no cookie banner and no third-party script: nothing on the page comes from anyone but us, and nothing is sent anywhere but our own private store.
- Recording is off unless you tick "Record my play"; until you do, only the game records are sent.
- Recordings and game records are kept for 180 days and then deleted.
Your saved game and your settings stay in your browser's storage so a closed tab picks up where you left off. They are not sent anywhere.
Turning the recording on and off
Under the game, beside Table talk, tick "Record my play" to turn the recording on, and untick it to
turn it off. It stays as you left it on that browser. A link we send you with ?record=1
in the address records that one visit; ?record=0 keeps that one visit unrecorded.
Reaching us
To ask a question or to have your records removed, email admin@klasen-development.com. Send the anonymous id if you want a game's records found; we cannot find them any other way.
